These ConcreteSwift Terms of Use explain the rules for using ConcreteSwift.com, including its concrete quantity calculators, cubic-yard and cubic-foot estimates, bag calculations, ready-mix cost tools, conversion pages, project guides, tables and diagrams.
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of ConcreteSwift.com ("ConcreteSwift," the "Site"). In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of ConcreteSwift, while "you" and "your" refer to any visitor or user. ConcreteSwift includes a Concrete Calculator for slabs and patios, round footings and piers, poured walls, columns and beams, together with cubic-yard and cubic-foot estimates, common concrete-bag estimates, optional ready-mix material-cost calculations, conversion tools, project guides, tables, formulas, diagrams and related educational resources.
ConcreteSwift is intended to make concrete quantity planning and general construction information easier to understand. It is not a substitute for a licensed engineer, architect, contractor, building official, testing laboratory, concrete producer, material supplier or other qualified professional when professional judgment, code compliance, structural design, mix specification or safety decisions are required.
By accessing, browsing, using, or interacting with ConcreteSwift, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them to the extent enforceable under applicable law. If you use ConcreteSwift on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization and that the organization accepts these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, your remedy is to stop using ConcreteSwift. Certain portions of ConcreteSwift may also be subject to additional notices or policies. When a specific notice conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific notice will control for that feature to the extent permitted by law.
ConcreteSwift provides free concrete quantity and planning tools. The main Concrete Calculator can estimate material for slabs, patios, driveways, garage floors, footings, piers, poured walls, columns and beams. Depending on the selected tool, results may include cubic feet, cubic yards, approximate 40 lb, 60 lb or 80 lb bag counts, an ordering allowance and an optional ready-mix material-cost estimate based on the local price per cubic yard entered by the user.
ConcreteSwift may also publish concrete cost guides, unit-conversion pages, finishing and curing guides, measurement information and other educational resources. These tools are intended for planning and reference. Actual project requirements can vary because of site dimensions, uneven subgrade, formwork, delivery minimums, product yield, mix design, reinforcement, local codes, weather, access, soil conditions, labor, taxes and supplier practices.
ConcreteSwift calculations are based on mathematical formulas and the information you enter. For rectangular slabs and walls, volume calculations use finished dimensions. Round footing and column calculations use circle-based formulas. Cubic feet are converted to cubic yards using 27 cubic feet per cubic yard. These formulas can produce mathematically correct outputs while still differing from the quantity ultimately required on a real jobsite.
Ordering allowances are planning options, not universal rules. Supplier minimums, ordering increments, short-load fees, delivery, pumping, excavation, base preparation, reinforcement, forms, finishing, curing, removal, disposal, taxes, permits and labor may be additional. Before ordering ready-mix or bagged concrete, independently verify the final dimensions, product yields, supplier requirements and project specification.
You may use ConcreteSwift for lawful personal, educational and legitimate business purposes, subject to these Terms. You agree not to interfere with ConcreteSwift, misuse its tools or access it in a way that harms other users, the operator or third parties.

Unless otherwise indicated, ConcreteSwift's original text, page design, code, calculator interfaces, graphics, diagrams, logos, formatting, databases and other original materials are owned by or licensed to ConcreteSwift operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, standards, trademarks, logos and quoted materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view and use ConcreteSwift content for ordinary personal or internal business reference. You may not remove proprietary notices, falsely claim authorship, sell copied pages, reproduce substantial portions of ConcreteSwift as a competing content library, or create a misleading impression that ConcreteSwift operator endorses another service.
ConcreteSwift may link to government agencies, standards organizations, manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, publishers, research sources, advertisers or other external websites. External links are provided for convenience or source attribution. Unless expressly stated, a link does not mean we control, endorse or guarantee the third party.
Third-party websites operate under their own terms, privacy policies and security practices. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, products, services, pricing, statements, data collection or content. Review the relevant third-party policies before submitting information, purchasing a product or relying on external material.
ConcreteSwift may reference technical and industry resources such as the American Concrete Institute and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. A reference or external link does not mean that the third party sponsors, approves or endorses ConcreteSwift.
If ConcreteSwift allows you to send feedback, contact messages, corrections, suggestions or other materials, you are responsible for what you submit. Do not send confidential engineering plans, trade secrets, passwords, payment credentials, sensitive personal information or material you do not have the right to share.
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own. By voluntarily submitting non-confidential feedback or suggestions about ConcreteSwift, you grant the operator permission to use that feedback to improve, operate and promote ConcreteSwift without an obligation to compensate you, unless applicable law requires otherwise or we separately agree in writing.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConcreteSwift and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty that ConcreteSwift will always be available, secure, current, complete, accurate or free from defects.
We disclaim warranties and representations, whether express, implied or statutory, to the extent legally permitted, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Do not rely solely on ConcreteSwift for structural design, code compliance, required slab or foundation thickness, reinforcement, concrete strength acceptance, engineering specifications, mix selection, contractual pricing or any decision where an incorrect result could cause injury, property damage, construction failure or significant financial loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConcreteSwift operator and its contributors, service providers and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on ConcreteSwift.
This includes, where legally permitted, losses arising from inaccurate calculations, incorrect measurements, material over-ordering or under-ordering, project delays, contractor decisions, supplier pricing, lost data, lost profits, business interruption, property damage or reliance on third-party links. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any liability that applicable law requires us to retain.
To the extent permitted by law, if your unlawful use of ConcreteSwift, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights causes a third-party claim against ConcreteSwift operator, you agree to be responsible for losses, liabilities and reasonable costs resulting from that conduct. This provision does not apply where prohibited by law and does not require you to indemnify the operator for the operator's own conduct where such an obligation would be unenforceable.
We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of ConcreteSwift at any time. ConcreteSwift calculators, conversion factors, bag-yield assumptions, cost examples and guides may be revised when formulas, data sources, browser requirements, industry guidance or editorial policies change. We may correct errors without prior notice and are not required to preserve a particular feature, layout, URL or historical result indefinitely.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting failures, internet outages, security events, updates or circumstances outside our control. Save or independently record information that is important to you rather than relying on ConcreteSwift as permanent storage.
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version may be posted on this page with a revised effective or “last updated” date. Your continued use of ConcreteSwift after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If a change materially affects rights or obligations and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will use the form of notice or consent required by that law.
Your use of ConcreteSwift may also be subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes applicable practices relating to analytics, cookies, contact submissions and other data. These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy.
If ConcreteSwift displays advertising, affiliate links or sponsored content, any applicable disclosures should be read together with these Terms and the relevant page-specific notice.
If you believe material published on ConcreteSwift infringes a copyright you own or control, contact us with enough information to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, the page URL and a reliable way to contact you. We may request additional information needed to evaluate the notice under applicable law.
Do not submit a copyright complaint for material you do not own or have authority to represent.
These Terms are subject to the laws that validly apply to ConcreteSwift and to the user or activity at issue. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive mandatory consumer, statutory or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived by contract.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and any page-specific notices, form the general terms governing use of ConcreteSwift.
